HelpGuides › Subscribing to your calendar with another app

As well as viewing your calendar of To-Do items from within Nach, you can also subscribe to the calendar and access it from within other apps. Nach exports an iCalendar feed, which is a standard format that can be read by most other calendar apps.

The exact method of subscribing varies depending on the app, but in general, you'll want to click the "Show subscription link" button on the Calendar tab in Nach, copy the link, and find an option like Add calendar by URL within your app. You don't want an "import" option, as that usually performs a one-off import, so won't stay synchronised with future changes.

The items on the calendar are only updated whenever your calendar app chooses to fetch updates from the Nach server. So, if you have the option of specifying how often the app should refresh the feed, it's helpful to make this as frequent as possible.

  • Sign in to Nach and visit the Calendar tab.
  • Click the Show subscription link button at the top of the page.
  • Highlight and copy the entire link. Make sure you get it all, as it's quite long. It should end with .ics.
  • Visit Google Calendar, and from the list of calendars in the left-hand pane, click the downward arrow beside Other calendars
  • From the menu that appears, choose Add by URL.
  • Paste the link into the prompt which appears, and click Add Calendar.
  • Wait a few seconds for the calendar to sync, and then you're all set!
